Senior Electrical Designer

Senior Electrical Designer - Akron Ohio - JOB 24-00662Salary Range 55K - 85K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing A& E consulting firm in Akron is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer. The Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for gathering and analyzing technical data used to prepare basic electrical engineering designs and drawings for client projects including Power Lighting & Electrical Distribution Electrical One-Line Drawings Electrical Load Studies Power Equipment List and related Electrical Drawings.Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Electrical technical training and or electrical design experience. Field experiences desired 6 to 12 years working in one or more of the following service areas Chemicals Petrochemicals Polymers Utility Energy and Manufacturing. Proficient in AutoCAD (3D a plus) Knowledgeable in lighting systems power systems equipment NEC or NFPA 70 applicable building codes hazardous area classifications for process industries and wiring practices. Experience with development of electrical drawings P & ID s installation details conduit and cable schedules. Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel) Occasional domestic overnight travel required Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
