Transformer Wire Winding Technician - Canton Ohio - JOB 24-00747Salary Range 22.00 - 28.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits 2 500 Sign-On Bonus Available After Completing 90 Days of Employment REQUIREMENTS High School GED Technical Vocational Training Associates in Electronic Technology or Higher-Level Education with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with liquid or dry transformer coil winding and operating coiling machinery to wind wire or sheet coils. Candidates must be capable of operating coiling machinery reading schematics blueprints winding data sheets and follow written and verbal work instructions. Candidates must have experience with the following equipment brazing and welding equipment insulation resistance testers cut-off saws bake ovens grinders winding lathes punches shears wire strippers cranes forklift trucks dip tanks VPI systems and various hand-held power and non-power tools. Candidates are required to perform the following tasks electrical testing recording connection and winding data on QA forms record production and operational data ordering materials winding random coils insertion of finished coils connecting coils testing taping and tying finished coils and prep for install. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
