In this role you will perform maintenance activities on equipment and machinery within an industrial plant. Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing various systems is essential to ensure operational efficiency.Responsibilities Repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes jib cranes and other machinery. Diagnose issues and provide recommendations for equipment repairs. Conduct repairs on motors pneumatic tools and conveyor systems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for troubleshooting. Perform monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts. Coordinate monthly inspections with department managers. Examine parts for imperfections and repair or replace as necessary. Lubricate and clean equipment components. Start devices to test their performance post-repair. Layout assemble install and maintain pipe systems hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and replace gauges valves and pressure regulators. Install program or repair automated machinery and equipment including robots or programmable controllers. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Perform multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must-Have Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Master electrical certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance. Strong ability to interchange tasks with others in the department.
