Industrial Painter Blaster Job Type Temp-to-Hire Location Broken Arrow OK Pay 17 - 20 hr (Based on Experience) Shift 6 00 AM 4 30 PM (Switching to Night Shift 5 30 PM 3 30 AM 5 30 AM during the fall) Job Order 116755Position Overview We re looking for a detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Broken Arrow. This role involves preparing sandblasting and painting compressors and other equipment with minimal supervision. Candidates must complete an on-site test prior to hire.Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Preparation Operate cleaning equipment to prepare surfaces for painting. Paint Application Mix and apply paint systems to meet customer and company specifications. Sandblasting Operate sandblasting equipment according to required standards. Masking & Feathering Mask feather and prepare surfaces for painting maintain tools and equipment. Readings & Measurements Take DFT (Dry Film Thickness) Psychrometer and Surface Temperature readings. Safety Compliance Follow all HSSE guidelines for health safety security and environmental standards. Heavy Equipment Operate forklifts scissor lifts and other heavy equipment as needed. Flexibility Willingness to assist other departments as required. Required Skills & Experience 2-5 years of relevant painting experience. Forklift Experience At least 1 year of forklift operation. Heavy Equipment Ability to operate scissor lifts cranes and forklifts. Preferred Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Physical Demands Inspection & Painting Frequently inspect and paint equipment using stairs or ladders. Lifting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Outdoor Work Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in non-air-conditioned facilities. Mobility Ability to stoop kneel and crouch in confined spaces.
