SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Housing Services Assistant for a non-profit client in Grand Rapids MI. This individual will be responsible for handling intake calls and general office administration and management. RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to inquiries from clients in a professional and compassionate manner Handle telephone inquiries internet leads and walk-in traffic Greet walk-in visitors and notify appropriate staff member Manage front desk and referral information Provide general informal case management including intake & referral services Properly document all information from intake and provide information to housing specialists and other staff as required Maintain all records and documentation needed for program compliance and accountability in accordance with standards and funding source requirements Provide support and education to clients while maintaining confidentiality Provide administrative support for other staff and all programs as required Assist with grant contract applications reports and administration including generating drafts of all contract reports Oversee and manage operations and building maintenance including negotiating managing and administering contracts with insurance agencies independent contractors and service providers Maintaining contact with independent contractors vendors and service providers Assist with all computer-related matters Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail Generate reports for Board committee meetings and oversee the assembly and distribution of packets QUALIFICATIONS Associate s degree in business administration or a related field required bachelor s degree preferred Strong working knowledge of housing laws and regulations Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks and work under pressure Related non-profit experience desired Proficiency in Spanish desired MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
