Description WOOD Assembler Job Purpose To build required jobs per work order assigned to specific area following all the required safety rules stated on the JSA Duties Build jobs as required by reading blueprints provided. Also needed to use shop equipment such as bandsaw chopsaw hot melt gluers stitchers rip saw tablesaw nail guns and various electric hand tools. Documents production and production process by completing work orders noting the receipt flow and return of materials. Maintains quality standards by conducting first-piece inspection completing a review of all Quality Assurance Documents making equipment adjustments. Helps prepare others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures. Maintains production line operation by solving production process problems making equipment adjustments reporting production and quality data reporting decisions made referring questions to the supervisor. Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment raw and in-process materials and finished goods) reporting needed changes. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Cooperates with managers supervisors when assigned additional duties as necessary.
