What is a mentor A mentor is simply a wise and trusted friend. There are many children in Indian River County who need just that. For only two hours a week for six weeks you can change a life. Please consider mentoring in our Youth Guidance Mentoring Academy. We offer free programs to single parent low income households. Our children enjoy activities such as cooking photography and technical programs. Just come to a group and be a positive role model for our children.
