Description As an Area Supervisor for Goodyear Mileage Sales Lease & Service you will be responsible for the profitable management and effective execution of Mileage agreements with major commercial fleets in the Kansas City and surrounding region.Duties will include but are not limited to Managing directing and supervising of personnel. Dealing directly with customers and managing customer relationships. Meeting customer contract requirements. Understand and adhere to all safety standards. Tire Service mounting dismounting of heavy duty bus tires by hand and machine balancing and flat repairs. Vehicle inspection inflation maintenance and record keeping. Assist management with hiring training. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected. Requirements Qualified candidates for this position need not have experience but should have a positive attitude be highly self-motivated and possess a mechanical aptitude. Must be able to manage and direct associates. Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative able and willing to work without direct supervision. Must be willing to call on prospects. Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment as part of a team. Must be willing to travel overnight (60%) Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Good oral and written communication ability. Must be able to speak read and write English. Must be willing to work scheduled shifts including nights and weekends. Frequent bending twisting lifting squatting and walking. Must be able to pass a background check including SSN verification criminal history etc. Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug tests. Must have a valid driver s license.
