Company A private automotive manufacturing facility A fantastic culture which focuses on professional development 4 weeks PTO and 10 holidays Above market compensation Position Overview This position is responsible for communications with the customers to demonstrate excellent customer service and develop effective customer relationships.Position Duties Assist Customer service manager by adhering to and enforcing work processes and procedures. Manage customer relationships with a positive and friendly attitude. Ensure Customer orders are entered accurately and timely in conformance to contractual due dates. Monitor any past due orders or potential shipment disruptions for communication with customers Communicate with customers regularly making sure to notify customers when there may be any type of issue with their orders. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Handle and resolve customer complaints. Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries. Provide pricing and delivery information. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource. Communicate and coordinate with internal departments. Complete new item number and customer item part setups and pricing. Maintain system accuracy for customer records by updating account information as needed. Resolve issues with customer EDI data Schedule outbound shipments within Customer portals or expedited shipments. Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of customer service department. Monitor customer scorecards for accuracy in regards to shipments. Report any workplace conditions that appear dangerous or potentially hazardous. Follow the proper procedures for the safe use of tools and equipment associated with the employees position and properly maintain this equipment. Immediately report any workplace injury or illness to your manager and Human Resources. Attend all required Safety related training and or communication sessions. Contribute to maintaining a workplace free from serious recognized hazards and comply with standards rules regulations and policies regarding safety protocol. Accept continuous improvement as a VALUE of the organization and be responsible for identifying gaps and inefficiencies and suggest where improvements can take place. Create and support an environment of continuous learning among all employees and contribute to an atmosphere of people care dignity positivity and inspiration. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business and or a combination of education AND a minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing industrial environment in a customer service role. Strong computer skills are necessary and experience working in an ERP system along with intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products. Experience with SAP software required Experience in Automotive or Automotive Parts Manufacturing required Must to be able to multitask and to work well under pressure Strong teamwork skills are required to foster and build cohesive teams.
