A local manufacturer of packaging machinery is seeking to hire a Buyer (Jr or Experienced level) to handle all the purchasing outsourcing of materials getting quotes and doing the follow up work. This company uses a type of MRP system. REQUIREMENTSHigh School Graduate is required. A minimal of 2 years experience doing purchasing outsourcing of materials and getting quotes. MS office Office 365 MRP experience or other similar software such as ERP. This company uses VBA. This company currently uses their engineers to handle the purchasing quotes etc. They are seeking a person to relieve the engineers of this work completely. Duties purchasing outsourcing of materials getting quotes and doing the follow up work making contact with new companies for outsourcing. This company is seeking a hands-on type of person that s looking to grow with a great company. Candidates must have good communication and organizational skills in order to be considered. The Buyer will have excellent skills using some type of MRP system and be capable of being able to master the system to improve over all flow of work.
