Ezralow Company is searching for an Investment Bookkeeper Accountant for their organization in Calabasas CA.Company A private investment company specializing in commercial and residential property management and development services The Role Support the Investments Manager with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities Track investments in cost basis reporting interest dividends and understand ROC (return of capital) transactions. Knowledge of stock splits mergers warrants and convertible debt. Download translate and post all transactions from the electronic custodial data feeds client s statements and manual sources. Update pricing (marketable and non-marketable) and security information including dividends splits bond interest etc. Manual entry and reconciliation of client brokerage statements and alternative asset reporting into the designated system. Track and update cost basis for new accounts stock splits mergers and reorganizations from the custodian or alternative sources. Process review and resolve any exception items to ensure timely and accurate reconciliations for cash positions and market values. Produce all monthly reports and reconciliations before the designated deadline. Fax documents open sort and distribute incoming correspondence photocopy scan documents organize and maintain files and computer data entry. Coordination of tax return processing mail out tax return packages and track certified mail receipts Assist with preparation of annual tax returns Preparation and organization of investment-related paperwork from banks and brokers Internet delivery systems Federal Express USPS and California Overnight Continual organization of files cabinets and tax returns Qualifications Bachelors Degree (Required) 2 years of investment and accounting related activities (Preferred) 2 years of office manager duties (Required) 2 years of working with high net worth individuals (Required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform confidential responsibilities with marginal supervision using a high level of professionalism Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel and Outlook) Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task Knowledge of special delivery systems USPS Express Mail Certified Mail Federal Express UPS California Overnight. Knowledge of general office equipment 10-key scanners copy machines and fax machines.
