We currently have a Maintenance Technician position open for a very large chemical company in St. Joseph Missouri. The primary responsibilities will be to install maintain modify and troubleshoot mechanical equipment throughout the facilities. This is a Monday - Friday position working either 1st or 2nd shift. This is much more than a job . . . this is a career Call us today or go to the following link to apply bit.ly 2zxHmXiDuties include Constructing testing maintaining and repairing the hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical equipment control systems basic electrical systems lighting and outlets Ability to read and understand manuals schematics and drawings to troubleshoot and solve issues and maintain equipment performance Ability to weld for repair and fabrication Familiar with heavy equipment operation (Backhoe bobcat scissor lift etc.) Follow all safety rules and regulations as required by the company as well as local state and federal and maintain a safe and productive working environment Perform all other duties as assignedRequirements High School diploma GED required At least three years of maintenance experience or a technical degree Must have experience in the following stick welding MIG TIG fabrication pipefitting electrical troubleshooting mechanical troubleshooting pneumatics hydraulics steams systems and packaging equipment operation Must be qualified to wear a respirator Cannot be afraid of heights Must be able to work in confined spaces Must be able to identify primary and secondary colors on a standard color wheel Must be able to lift 75 lbs Valid driver s licenseHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. is required Welding experience required Electrical experience required Must be able to handle changing temperatures Steel toed shoes are required
