Electrical Principal Engineer - Akron OH - JOB 17-00576 Salary Range 90K - 110K Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A full-service design build A & E Consulting firm is seeking to hire an Electrical Principal Engineer to do low voltage power distribution motor control and lighting design and calculations. REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Electrical Engineering degree Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.). Active Ohio License is strongly preferred Must have a minimal of 15 years experience very similar work in a consulting environment Strong understanding of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and capable of performing load calculations and studies relating to power distribution systems. Must have experience with medium and low voltage power distribution motor control and lighting design HV & EHV substations and transmission lines. DC and variable frequency drives is desirable AutoCAD & Or Revit & MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) Provide competent accurate economical engineering designs and or specifically assigned tasks. Prepare check reports plans and specification in an efficient manner within schedule and budget. Coordination of all projects Perform calculations and application of components maintain organized calculations Develop technical solutions of assigned projects including field observations and evaluations research and collection of data to be utilized in developing technical solutions. Prepare departmental task hour estimates for projects subject to supervisor approval Coordinate the drafting efforts or sub-consultant efforts required on a project Check design calculations 20 % Travel is required Local & Out of State Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary Range 90K - 110K Permanent Position with Benefits.
