Introduction to Screenwriting is now being offered through the City of Riverside Come join for a 4-Week intensive class on the essential techniques of writing a professional screenplay. In the class you will learn professional screenplay format and the techniques of professional script writing. You will also write a 5-15 page short script for the course. The course begins February 7th and ends February 28th every Wednesday night (6 30pm - 8 30pm) for 4 weeks The course is being taught by a former William Morris Agency script reader and graduate of Chapman University Film School. The Instructor has also worked in Screenplay Development and has pitched professionally in Hollywood. Earn a Certificate in Introduction to Screenwriting at the completion of the course.The course will cover The essential tools of Screenwriting. Professional Screenwriting Format. Formating Scenes and Sequences. Plot Theme and 3-Act Structure (and 4-Act). Character Development. Learn how to write a Treatment for your script. Learn how to pitch your script.
