The postdoctoral fellow is expected to work on the project with three specific aims to 1) reveal genetic basis of perennial wheat 2) create mutants to make perennial wheat 3) understand mechanisms of flowering genes underling the perennial growth habit. The specific objectives of the project will be addressed using genetic biochemical and genome-editing approaches.
