Duties & Responsibilities Safely performs various general manual labour tasks around the landfill. Lifting and moving materials such as garbage paper. Loading and unloading materials from vehicles. Setting up pumps and other equipment supporting Operators. Grass cutting using hedge trimmers etc. Qualifications Experience 1 year similar work experience. Valid class G licence.Work Environment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Using motor coordination with finger dexterity (keyboarding machine operation) occasionally. Exerting physical effort in handling objects less than 50 pounds most of the work day. Exposure to physical occupational risks (cuts burns exposure to toxic chemicals) occasionally. Exposure to physical environment involving dirt odors noise weather extremes or similar elements daily.
