Tutor Needed For 6 Year Old Boy

Hi tutors I am looking for a fun tutor to help my very active and sensitive 6-year-old son work on some basic skills before he enters first grade in the fall. He is the middle of three kids (in the red shirt in the picture with his 8yr old sister and 4yr old brother) and young for his grade (having just turned six this summer). He finished Kindergarten in June a little behind the curve mostly due to a lack of motivation and focus so implementing a system of reward and play will be essential to working with him. He needs to build up confidence in his abilities as well as he has taken to giving up rather easily and saying that he isn t capable. The areas that we think he needs the most focus on are his beginning reading (he finished out the school year at a level C and elementary likes to see their kindergartners finish at a level D) and his handwriting fine motor skills. We are thinking hour long sessions several times a week for the rest of the summer to help him get caught up and on track but we are open to the idea of continuing if he needs it during the school year as well. We can be flexible as to scheduling and location. The ideal candidate for us along with being an excellent motivator for a young boy can be flexible on scheduling because he has some sports camps coming up and we have a family vacation to Disneyland that we will need to work around as well.
