A well-established engineering consulting firm in the Akron OH area is seeking to higher an experienced Civil Project Manager to plan execute and deliver projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project s objectives oversee quality control and be responsible for invoicing and managing of accounts receivable.Experience Required Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum 4 years experience in project management PE preferred Desired Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD Civil 3D AutoTurn Deltek and Photo Editing Software Experience with Business Development Acquire resources for project team meet project objectives and timeline for completion Experience defining project objectives and timeline for completion and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout project take leadership role in projects between 20K - 250K Experience preparing proposals to provide professional services for individual projects or programs including scope schedule fee budget as well as contract negotiation of fees and terms change order preparation and other related negotiations. Track project milestones and communicate them to involved parties throughout project Responsible for coordinating with outside consultants for procurement of services (surveys geotechnical and environmental reports traffic studies MEP structural engineering civil fire protection acoustics landscaping etc.) Excellent communication skills Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary Range 80K - 110K Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
