An expanding Youngstown area manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking a buyer experienced in the procurement of electronic components and associated raw materials. The successful candidate must have experience sourcing suppliers negotiating prices and tracking deliveries of components such as capacitors circuit boards etc. Additional duties will include preparing request for quotes responding to engineering change notices and developing maintaining relationships with multiple vendors. REQUIREMENTS Associate degree or technical school certificate Demonstrated knowledge of electronic components and associated raw materials Ability to read and interpret prints as needed Experience with identifying suppliers and negotiating for price and timely delivery Ability to work with others in the planning and maintenance of necessary inventory Experience with some type of resource planning software and professional written verbal communication skills Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
