Our client an established growing building design consulting firm located near Boston MA(Metro West) is seeking a client-focused Senior Structural Engineer with a PE license. Responsible for project management and design from initial client contact through completion of construction. Supervise and mentor junior staff conduct site inspections and investigations work on both new construction and renovation projects. Participate in the planning and growth of the firm. Manage and supervise the project engineering and modeling teams in the design and preparation of project drawings specifications and reports. Track and oversee project budgets. Work with architects developers property-owners contractors insurance companies and attorneys. Must have outstanding communication problem solving project management and scheduling skills. Strong technical insights and skills. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Bachelor s degree in Structural Engineering with PE license is required Master s degree is preferred. Minimum of ten years experience in a building design consulting firm with a portfolio of small to large buildings is required.
