Hello thank you for showing interest in me Let me begin by saying that I am a part-time student. As much as I d love to work all day (and believe me I would) I have school from 5 30 a.m. to 11 00 a.m. Mon-Fri. Weekends and any time after those listed I m very flexible. I can pretty much be called upon whenever needed. I have been babysitting for about 5 years. I have history with newborns all the way to preteens. I have history working in a daycare preschool environment for approximately 2 years for one of the classes I ve taken in school. My responsibilities included supervision of the children administration and preparation of snacks and meals creation and implementation of lesson plans etc. I ve also tutored children in English and Math for about 2 years. I am CPR and first aid certified a certified babysitter in the state of Maryland and have my 90 hours certification. I have a brother with special needs and a mother who was a special education teacher so although I am not trained in special needs I am very comfortable with children or adults with them I am very patient with children. I can be firm when needed and fun when appropriate. I enjoy doing various hands-on learning activities with kids (arts and crafts music playing outdoors science experiments hands-on math reading putting together plays and puppet shows cooking and anything else we can arrange) I am a bit a-al about keeping things clean and orderly. I have worked with as many as 4 children at once but my ideal number would be 3 or less. Dogs and Cats (or other animals) in a house is no problem with me. I love animals If a job includes walking feeding cleaning after the animals in addition to caring for the children I would have no problem.
