1942 Harley-Davidson WLA

Just testing the market to see if its worth selling my WLA. I have been eyeing the new diesel trucks and can use this sale towards a new truck..... So here is the story I purchased this bike in February of last year from a Dealer only motorcycle auction in Atlanta GA. Upon receiving the bike here in CA I was so impressed by the condition of the bike that I decided to place it in my collection as a tribute to my grandfather who served in WW2. Along with the purchase the auction house gave me the contact for the selling dealer. Here are some points of that conversation we had on the history of the bike from the seller -The bike was purchased out of Poland in the mid 1990s by the owner of Granite Mountain and Stone Mountain Harley Dealers. He found the bike while on vacation in Europe. -The bike was on display in the window of Granite Mountain HD in Conyers GA. -When the bike made it back to the USA the owner got it running and replaced the tires. -The bike was ridden occasionally in parades in the late 1990s the mileage on the trip is how much it was ridden total (30.5 miles) -In 2003 Harley Davidson borrowed the bike for 14 months as part of the traveling museum that visited many HD dealers that eventually ended in Sturgis.
