1969 AMC Javelin Engine Is A 401 Race Engine (Built By Quinlin Motors) Manual Automatic Trans. Miles 93 367 (Believed To Be Original) 1969 AMC Javelin SST Pro Street Drag Race car was built to terrorize the street strip Has a Monster 401 Race engine built by Quinlin Motors. Engine is 4 Years Old is bored .40 over with 13 1 Wesco Pistons. The rods have been polished and pined. The oiling system is modified for better oiling. The cast heads have been ported and as a solid lift Erson Cam (600 Lift). The intake is a Edelbrock Torker with a 750 Holley Carb. The exhaust is 1 7 8 tube Headers with 3 collectors with Flow-Master Mufflers. Trans is a 727 Torque-Flite with manual reverse pattern valve body 4000 Stall converter & a Hurst Shifter. Has a 9 Inch Rear end with 4 10 Gears & Disc Brakes & four link with leaf springs. A Stainless Fuel Cell provides the fuel via a Mallory Fuel Pump. A aluminum radiator handles the cooling with an electric fan. Wheels are Center Lines with Street Slicks on rear & 4 Mickey Thompson s on front. Hood & Front Bumper is Fiberglass. Very solid original sheet metal car. Exterior paint is fair for a show car & really good for a drag car. Interior is fair & needs some work.
