Arcadia an upscale casual restaurant and lounge overlooking the Michigan City Harbor is looking for experienced servers and bartenders. With a focus on comfort food and handcrafted cocktails in a bright airy space overlooking the lake we re looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for providing the best possible experience for our customers. Must have interest in learning and communicating the restaurant concept and message while understanding the food and beverage program.Job Requirements Meet age requirements (19) and have a state-approved alcohol training program certification.Open availability for late night and weekend shifts with a flexible schedule.Must be able to communicate effectively with others while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.Proper understanding of food and bev. program is a must - knowledge of the menu is key in giving the customer the best possible experience.Must have ability to perform standard opening running and closing duties as well as sidework throughout the shift.Positive and enthusiastic demeanor who is willing to contribute to a team effort.BARTENDERSMust be 21 with state-approved alcohol training program certification.We re looking for individuals with knowledge of liquor beer wine and current cocktail mixology trends.Job Requirements Experienced with an interest in strengthening and developing our cocktail menu to create seasonal weekly drinks.Must be able to maintain a high standard for presentation with an understanding of our food and beverage program while ensuring a positive experience for our guests.Bartenders must cultivate an in-depth knowledge of menu items and be able to comfortably discuss and recommend libations according to guests preferences.Intermediate knowledge of liquor wine and beer is necessary.Must be able to work late nights and weekends and stand for long periods of time.Must have a positive attitude with interest in overall concept of restaurant and bar program.Job Types Full-time Part-time
