Ref TBD Stand-By Personnel is hiring a quality assurance floor inspector lead for a large Tulsa manufacturing company. General duties Trains and supervises other inspectors. Competent to fully perform all duties of an A level inspector. Makes visual and measured inspection of structural components to ensure conformance with standards. Verifies specified dimensions strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Complies with all safety rules and procedures. Maintains and completes all required records. Minimum Qualifications Must have 5 years recent job history in quality control. Must have knowledge of AWS & ASME. Must be able to operate the following equipment (These characteristics are normally acquired through eighteen months to five years experience and ASNT II or AWS CWI or WIS certification) o micrometer o gauges o calipers o tapelines o stencils o computers Read drawings and blueprints Perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measurement instruments and inspection equipment Perform and oversee visual weld inspection and various NDT testing. Complete inspection records and reports Train and supervise employees Requires ability to work independently Perform general housekeeping clean up in assigned work area Regular and predictable attendance is required. Ability to function as a team member. Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
