We are currently building world-class institutes for the treatment of diabetes and cancer. The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Energy Manager. The successful candidate will design develop and evaluates energy related projects to reduce energy costs or improve energy efficiency. Ensures conformance to state laws and adherence to approved specifications. Conducts energy audits and monitors energy consumption. Responsible for the implementation and continuance of the Oklahoma Facilities Energy Conservation Program. Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Facilities Management Energy or Environmental Engineering or related field and 60 months experience in energy monitoring and conservation of buildings HVAC electrical and controls systems. Management experience required. Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor s Degree for a total of 108 months of related experience. Skills Knowledge of state energy conservation laws and regulations. Working knowledge of International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP). Knowledge of employee s energy savings behavioral habits. Ability to identify complex problems and review information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Excellent communicate effectively verbally and in writing and the ability to supervise.
