Medical Receptionist - Mental Health Based in Shellharbour City we are a private Mental Health Clinic requiring a motivated person to join our administrative team. This is acasual position although set days hours are likely to be established with the addition of relief work when available. Previous medical experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. Qualities and attributes necessary for this role are Extensive computer skills Highly organised and motivated The ability to prioritise work in a busy environment Professional phone manner Confidence in dealing with patients therapists and Doctors as well as insurance companies and government agencies Mature and empathetic personality to manage the highly sensitive and confidential nature of our business The role will include basic reception work answering phone enquiries booking and billing appointments acccepting payments (medicare client and third party payments) scanning filing and general running of the clinic.
