Duration 6 month contract with possible extension Location D T Toronto Must haves Strong understanding relational data model 5yrs Knowledge of SQL writing and scripts 5yrs Experience delivering SRS document 5yrs Process Mapping Skills 5yrs Strong Communication ability SDLC PMLC 5yrs Previous experience working on a similar project 5yrs Credit Risk Experience 5yrs Finance Banking experience 5yrs Nice to haves Regulatory CBAT SCS The candidate will be working closely to work with business to understand requirements credit risk reporting within Rise program Risk information strategy integration project. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of relational data models familiarity with SQL statements (medium or vast complexity). The candidate will be involved in the requirements gathering phase of the project and will be working closely with the solution design team. They will also be involved with working with the QA team running code integrating it into the data ware house. THE BA will be working alongside the QA s the QA s will help explain system requirements and will help build the test cases. The Project Management office will also work with the PM regarding status reports and timelines vetted to project plan. The individual will be working with existing systems and the automation of manual processes. Some key deliverables include system requirement specifications data mapping data lineage docs mapping rules of how data is brought in bound into system and stored into data base translation of the data rules on changing on character string or binary number The candidate would need to have process mapping experience. Will definitely need to have proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Visio - will being using Visio providing input of SRS. The objective of this project is to capture the credit risk data from multiple source systems that feed CRDM (credit risk data mart) and to fill the data gaps identified in order to produce Tier1 and Tier2 reports. Extensive knowledge on entity relationship models and complex SQL queries is required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills is a must as this person will be involved with conducting impact analysis and data gap analysis for existing data pipeline systems downstream systems and potential future data feeds. Work with business stakeholders as SMEs to assess current capabilities understand business requirements and translate and develop into Technical System Requirements Specification (SRS) documents. Work with the business to design effective To-Be processes identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases Work with the Solution Developers and IT Specialists (Solution Designers Configuration Data Modeler Test) to translate user and or systems requirements into functional technical specifications (data lineage specifications) Collaborate closely with Application Owners Application Managers and Solution Designers as the business functional counterpart in solution identification and maintenance Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product performance user acceptance and operational acceptance testing participate in the testing of developed systems solutions Adhere to existing processes standards including thesystem development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) business technology architecture risk and production capacity guidelines and escalate issues as required Monitor product lifecycles ensuring specifications and functionality support business objectives and architecture decisions undertaking re-development as required Participate in quality management reviews in particular reviews of the designs prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements Contribute to the development of project plans by participating in the scoping and estimating of proposed projects Communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to the Technology Project Manager (Application Manager Demand Manager Portfolio Manager) and ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues problems options and recommendations for prompt resolution Act as a technical resource for business partners to ensure deliverables meet business and end-user requirements Continuously enhance knowledge expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends developments and develop expertise in services applications infrastructure analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development delivery Work with the Technology Project Manager and architecture organization to define metrics and performance goals for the application Assist in the delivery and maintenance of secure computing facilities and technical infrastructure architecture to support stakeholders and applications as appropriate Job Requirements Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business quality innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues points of interest Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and or team Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners program and project managers Sound knowledge of Bank and technology standards (e.g. infrastructure architecture processes applications).
