Menu Price 56950.00 1969 AMC Hurst SC Rambler We are extremely pleased to offer a very rare car with a huge pedigree Beautifully restored excellent fit and finish correct 390cid with some tasteful upgrades factory 4spd limited slip 3.90 rear end correct A scheme paint correct interior AMC Hurst mounted Sun Tach vacuum controlled Mail Box hood scoop factory heavy duty suspension with staggered rear shocks and quick ratio steering. These were 14 second quarter mile cars from the factory and sold new as NHRA F Stock Production Race Car Thats the car now here is the history. Only 1512 of these were made and only a very few remain. There were 500 A paint code cars produced 500 B paint code cars another 500 A code cars and 12 Baja cars produced. This restoration began in 2005 and was done to a very high standard in Lewisville Texas. It was then sold to a collector in Minnesota and we purchased it from him. The car is listed in the 1512 registry and that is a story in and of itself. According to the Previous Owner This is car Number 274 in the Registry. He states 1969 AMC Hurst SC Rambler. One of 1512 Hurst SC Ramblers produced in 1969 by AMC. This car has a special history in that it was the inspiration for the 1512 Registry. This was Joie Vaughn s car before I purchased it in 2005. Joie had taken fantastic care of the car so it was a great car to put back to original.
