Manages and oversees the development of all Campus Life special events including activities relating to Allied Arts Union Programs Speaker s Board Miss OSU Miss Oklahoma pageants Summer on the Plaza Student Union Programs and various other programs as assigned advises all student committees assigned to these programs in every area of program development. Will chair the Allied Arts Committee. Coordinates and advises in the selection and on-going operations of all student committees assigned to various Campus Life special events programs including student faculty staff vacancies on Allied Arts committees annual selection of Speaker s Board members etc. Manages and oversees the fiscal operation of all Campus Life special event committees to ensure all areas are operating within budgetary projections Student Union and University policies and procedures designated goals of Campus Life and the mission of the university. Manage and oversees the exploration of additional funding sources including the inclusion of ancillary revenue in contracted agreements. Manage and oversee on availability of grant monies and all other possible new funding sources. Manage and oversee the Student Union Art Collection which will include and not limited to the proper care inventory of in house art and the coordination of displays of visiting art exhibits. Makes recommendations to the Student Union Director on the placement and purchase of art. Manages union programs including SUAB Advising & Promotion of Campus Life Special Events. Manage and oversee the promotion of all Campus Life special events including all activities relating to Allied Arts Union Programs Speaker s Board Miss OSU Miss Oklahoma pageants Student Union Programs and other related programs as assigned advises all student committees assigned to these programs. Other duties as assigned. Required qualifications Bachelor s in Art Theater HRAD Business or related. Communication skills are essential. Knowledge of computer programs desired. Preferred qualifications Master s degree in Art Student Affairs or related and two years of related experience with a strong background in Entertainment Promotion Contract Negotiation Event Coordination and Venue Management.
