Our client is well established major Bank looking for Business HR Talent Project Manager Location Downtown Toronto Duration 6 months contract position with strong possibility of further extension Summary Position Project Manager LOB Talent AcquisitionProject The contractor will be partnering with the Core Business Lead to work through the documentation execution and implementation of the project scope. This is a phase out project of a vendor relating to pre-employment screening and will managing it from a business standpoint. They will be working with a core project team (15-20 people which includes legal Information and Security HR etc.) stakeholders and vendors. Daily Responsibilities Completing documentation from a PMP perspective Implementation and execution of the project Driving the discussion and working towards various solutions for the needs of the bank Working with vendors and stakeholders across many lines of businessMust Have Skills 3-4 years of Project Management experience PMP designation and knowledge of best practices (cost schedule risk issue and status tracking and monitoring) Experience working with budgets of at least 1M Phase approach experience (previous work with phase out projects) Experience in execution and implementation from a documentation standpoint from charter to PIR Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Change management experience Strong negotiation and vendor management experience Intermediate to Advanced MS Office knowledge with an emphasis on ExcelNice to Have Previous HR experience (knowledge of pre-employment screening) Previous experience in a financial institution an asset (must have previously worked in a similar sized company at minimum)Some notes The manager is really looking for someone with a strong business consultancy approach.
