My client is a Major Bank located in Mississauga ON. They are looking for a Temp to Perm - Production Support Specialist (Content mgmt. system Filenet) This is 12 months contract position with a possibility of an extension or transitioning to perm Schedule need to be available 1 week out of every month for evenings and weekends shifts (the shift hours is 3pm-11pm) - on call 1 week out of the month Summary Activities include but are not limited to triage troubleshooting gathering and analyzing logs and testing to identify the possible cause of incidents participating in the determination of appropriate course of action to resolve the issues with minimal business disruption and establishing remedial processes to ensure application availability. MUST HAVE A successful Technical Support Specialist will have prior application support experience and must be strong with analysis issues management GUI management and possess demonstrated experience in the following areas 2 years directly related experience in IT Production support Knowledge of supporting IBM FileNet Content Management Systems Knowledge in implementing and supporting customized application solutions based on the FileNet and HP Extreme 1 years of Working experience of two or more Windows 2008 Server UNIX Database Knowledge of Web Services Create new batch and document classes Troubleshoot existing batch and document classes Knowledge of Database connections and simple queries. Understand document imaging standards and formats NICE TO HAVE Knowledgeable in Kofax Capture 10.0 IBM Websphere SOA Responsibilities include Incident Management Participate in Root cause analysis and resolution Manage issues in production environments recommending coordinating and managing necessary fixes and upgrades. Serve as liaison between departments as well as maintaining necessary documentation in the support of various core services. May assist the development of the software support analysis team members.
