Ballet Dance Instructor (Green Lake)

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is recruiting for a Ballet Dance Instructor for classes in the Winter 2016 season. This class engages children s imaginations while creating a focused container for their energy and enthusiasm. Motor skills and musicality are emphasized through games exercises and mini performances inside the classroom. An elementary ballet vocabulary will be used as a language for movement as well as phrases and key words from other dance mediums. Students should wear close fitting clothes with ballet slippers or bare feet and have their hair pulled out of the face. Location Green Lake Community Center Schedule Saturdays 10 00am - 10 45am Start date Saturday January 23 2016 End date Saturday March 26 2016 Pay range 18- 20 per hour DOE Requirements Over 21 years of age Experience teaching ballet and working with children is preferred Must pass criminal background check Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard Position open until filled.
