Job Summary Assist in creating and maintaining all animal inventory information and animal records manually or electronically. Perform administrative activities such as creating word documents filing sorting answering telephone duplicating material and provide administrative support to management staff. Maintains Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Reads and understands SNBL s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Trouble shoot data entered into ENOS. Prepare and distribute animal information (receipt forms cage cards etc.) for all species. Assist with preparing and maintaining documents for shipment and receipt of animals. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of domestic and international paperwork required for animal transport or importation. Provide administrative support to management including file preparation filing copying faxing creating word documents and other projects as assigned. Answer telephone receive greet and log in visitors. Monitor front gate entrance. Responsible to ensure that visitors are checked in accurately per company policies. Prepare weekly security invoices. Prepare recognition awards. Assist with preparations for client audits. Keep office stocked with janitorial and office supplies. Other duties as assigned. To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE Requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 1-3 years of records and or administrative support. Proficient with written and verbal communication and demonstrated experience in working independently. Will require the ability to use specialized equipment or software programs. Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel. Prefer knowledge of medical terminology. LANGUAGE SKILLS The language skills required include but are not limited to the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions software manuals study documents and procedure manuals the ability to write routine reports and correspondence the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. MATH SKILLS The math skills required include but are not limited to basic math skills. OTHER SKILLS Additional skills required include but are not limited to general reading writing and oral communication skills skills Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. REASONING ABILITY The reasoning abilities required include but are not limited to the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form and demonstrates attention to detail.
