For sale is a vintage antique Capen upright piano from the early 1900 s. Is still playable needs to be tuned 3 keys don t play one black missing. Has been in my family for 48 yrs. Is still in good shape cosmetically considering it s over 100 years old. Have seen restored Capen pianos sold for up to 12 000. The Capen is VERY rare This is a beautiful antique upright piano and also a great investment for someone wanting to make a large profit. Capen pianos were manufactured by the Brockport Manufacturing Company of Brockport New York from about 1890 until the Great Depression era. Capen was known for building elaborately carved pianos made of exotic woods and they were quite expensive for their time. There is very little information available about the Capen Piano Company but we do know that both Capen and Brockport were owned by the large C. Kurtzmann Piano Company of Buffalo NY.
