Manufacturing company in Lenexa KS is looking for Electrical Assemblers. We have immediate openings for Electrical Assemblers. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to - Assemble power generators as required. - Review understand and follow electrical procedures specifications and other instructions for completeness. - Safely and efficiently assemble generators and control components. - Interpret electric specifications to determine component parts assembly methods and sequence. - Assemble and configure electrical parts. - Properly utilize various hand tools including power tools. - Properly utilize precision and electrical testing equipment. - Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized assigned work area. - Ensure housekeeping and safety practices are followed and maintained. - Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements - High School Diploma or GED. Two-year Technical Degree preferred. - Must have electrical experience. Minimum 1 year of experience. - Must be able to use a volt-meter. - Must be able to work with a tape measure. - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver s license. - Must be punctual responsible and reliable. - Basic math skills. - Ability to perform other duties outside of primary area of responsibility where employee s skill sets may be needed. - Must be willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production. - Must be able to work with hand power tools. - Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and special instructions. - Must possess good memory and problem solving skills. - Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to work with small parts. - Must be able to work overtime as required. - Ability to follow specific oral or written instructions. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations. - Must be able to pass background check and physical and drug screen. Physical Demands - Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour day shift. - Position required bending standing and lifting throughout shift as well of use of strong hand and eye coordination. - Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on an occasional basis. - Hand finger dexterity to grasp and manipulate small parts and tools. Work Hours 8 00am- 5 00pm Monday- Friday
