Our client a small growing general practice structural engineering firm with a specialty in multi-family housing building rehabilitation and wood frame construction located near Newton MA is seeking a talented ambitious client-centered Structural Engineer.Responsibilities include all aspects of client engagement from design concept through to completion. Working with architects developers property-owners contractors insurance companies etc. Oversee and supervise the project engineering and modeling teams track and maintain project budgets and mentor junior staff. Must have experience in building design consulting with a wide range of experience and the ability and desire to mentor others and to partner in marketing of the firm. Must have outstanding communication problem solving project management and scheduling skills. Must possess strong technical insights and skills and be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Bachelor s degree in Structural Engineering with PE license is required. Master s degree is preferred. Minimum of five years experience in a building design consulting firm with experience working on small to large buildings.
