Tailored Training Services LLC Corporate Office 230 Northland Blvd. Ste 135Cincinnati OH 45246Job Title CPR & First Aid Instructor Independent Contractor Schedule FlexibleLocation Dayton OHApplication Close Date Until Position is FilledReports To Sedra Taylor Position Overview The CPR & First Aid Instructor Independent Contractor is responsible for providing continuous training and evaluation of Basic Life Support classes. Instructors will be contracted with Tailored Training Services LLC and provide its clients instruction of Basic Life Support according to all American Heart Association guidelines. The CPR & First Aid Instructor Independent Contractor will conduct training sessions at the Tailored Training Services LLC facilities and or at community or corporate sites. Essential Job Functions Current certification to be an instructor. Credentialing as required by state law for course to be taught or administered. Ability to communicate course material in a clear and understandable manner and in an adult learning environment. Customer service skills. Basic Computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs. Complete necessary trainings and documentation as necessary to maintain employment to include CPR and First Aid. Ability to travel regionally 30 -- 50% or as necessary. Light -- medium physical demand capabilities ability to manage and clean training equipment physical strength to handle 1st Aid CPR demonstrations dexterity of hands and fingers coordination ability to lift 10-25 lbs frequently with the ability to transport this weight from automobile to course location (may include stairs).Non-essential Job Functions Attend trainings staff meetings and in-service as required scheduled. Create and maintain a positive atmosphere for clients team members and other staff.Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver s license clean driving record and vehicle insurance. Must provide a criminal background check. Ability to work a flexible shift. Opportunities may become available during the day early evening or weekends. Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals from various job industries (home care daycare providers medical personnel and others). Previous work in education or service industry is a plus.Other Skills Abilities Must present a neat appearance while performing duties.
