Senior Male Dog - Shih Tzu "Snuffles"

Breed Shih TzuAge SeniorSex MaleSize MSnuffles is 12 years old and was surrendered after his owner fell ill and could not longer take care of him. He is a sweet old man who would like a quiet home to call his own. He seems fine with other dogs as long as they are respectful of his space and aren t too rambunctious. We have not tested him with cats yet. He would like a place where he could just nap on the couch most of the day and be with his person as often as possible. He follows me around everywhere and is what we call a velcro dog. Snuffles is totally house broken and is in good health for his age although he is overweight and could stand to lose about 5 lbs. Also because of his age he has the old man bumps on his back and some on his face. Doesn t cause much trouble and we were advised by the vet that the bumps on his eyes do not cause him any vision troubles and do not have to be removed. Snuffles is available for adoption. He is a good boy and deserving of a warm safe home for the rest of his life.
