Optical fiber fabrication Technician

Kiara Technologies is developing core technology related to specialty optical fibers and applications. We have a state-of-the-art specialty fiber fabrication facility and related infrastructure located in Elkridge near BWI Airport -- We are currently focused on fabricating rare-earth-doped fibers for advanced fiber lasers. We are looking for part-time full time help in fiber manufacturing processes starting immediately 20 - 40 hours per week for part-time workers it will be preferable if someone can work 3 full days a week. Requirements A background in chemistry physical science test measurements or engineering is highly desirable but we are willing to train a suitable motivated individual. The individual should also have good written and oral communication and organizational skills. This position is very suitable for college students or recent graduates.
