IP Paralegal Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for filing US and international applications (along with other materials during prosecution of such patent applications) corresponding with clients and foreign associates and other duties. Additional responsibilities include tasks relating to the preparation and handling of all related formalities such as declarations power of attorneys assignments formal drawings information disclosure statements extensions of time preliminary amendments and missing parts requirements as well as client communications. Handle other duties related to US patent prosecution as required. The candidate should preferably have a Bachelor s degree or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program with 2 years of IP experience OR 3-4 years of IP experience. Should preferably have experience with US and international patent prosecution. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Must be knowledgeable in processing notice of allowance and issue fee communications verification of patent term adjustment and letters patent. Should also have experience with filing via EFS-Web.
