Tascam 38 8-track reel to reel needs work

When you hold the take up arms and hit rewind fast forward the motors run. I can t get it to play and no that the capstan shaft doesn t turn. This has been in storage for a while. I know all the meters work fine and all the lights work. The tape counter works when you turn the reel by hand. Overall it is in great cosmetic shape. It just needs some TLC and a good home.
