I have been playing the saxophone professionally for 18yrs playing in a variety of different situations and many styles of music. I also have taught professionally in the Chester Upland School District for eleven years and have taught private and small group lessons for 5 yrs. I believe that the instructor should take into consideration the musical interests of the student while teaching the proper playing techniques and skills needed to be successful on his her instrument.
