my family is looking to adopt a very young male kitten (prefer short hair) to make the best of what will be a two cat (indoor only) household. we are looking for a very young kitten. the one female cat we have now was an orphan kitten rescue whose feral mother was eaten by coyotes. we adopted her at 6 weeks old and had a very positive introduction to our then 10 year old male. the two cats were best of friends. now our older cat has since died 2 years ago and we are ready to welcome a 2nd cat into our household. the best way to ensure a good relationship between two cats is bringing in a 2nd cat of opposite sex cat and very young). in order to care for a young kitten we have one adult home full time to provide best care. ideally the kitten would not be taken away from its mother i was hoping to find a kitten whose mother had died. MUST BE MALE.
