Facilities Manager

Description Manages the maintenance of the buildings equipment and lab facilities Communicates effectively with staff and management Responds in a timely manner to all maintenance requests Builds effective positive work relationships Installs moves repairs and removes equipment and utilities within the buildings and labs Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications including estimates on equipment labor materials and other related costs Supports and adheres to the quality management system processes Contracts with and supervises all outside contractors Inspects construction and installation progress Supervises all other facility maintenance personnel Oversees routine inspection and cleaning of all non-administrative areas Works safely and follows all company safety rules Develops and maintains a Facilities Log that details all facility related activities Ability to lift and grasp safely up to 50 lbs Ability to manipulate place and repair small parts Ability to climb ladders and stairs Ability to work within confined areas
