It stored apparatus used for river rescues. In the mid to late 1990 s it was repurposed and painted white for use by the Pontiac Municipal Band to haul instruments for band concerts (five times per year). It was placed out of service this summer. This vehicle has been stored indoors since purchased until it was placed in the surplus lot this year.Mechanical Data Body of the truck is rust free. Painted white when repurposed. Graphics are painted on--not vinyl. Engine 260 cubic inch in line V-6 gas 4 speed manual transmission. Overall length 20 feet. Interior Storage area measures 12 feet long by 6 6 wide with 5 11 headroom. Tires Rear dual wheels with 700-18 tires in good condition Front tires and rims replaced three years ago with LT225-75R16 tires. One original 700-18 front tire and split rim included.TRUCK NEEDS A BATTERY. Otherwise this truck runs and drives and is in overall sound mechanical condition.
