This is NOT your One Shot in a Bucket Concealed Weapons Training Class being given at Gun Shows and by some unscrupulous Firearm Instructors. If you want bargain Basement Prices this is not the place. The State of Florida requires that an applicant show and have proof of competency with a firearm in order to apply for a concealed weapons license. In our opinion an applicant must also know Florida firearm laws and when and under what circumstances deadly force can be used. This Academy feels that carrying a firearm is serious business and a huge responsibility. Just going over some gun fundamentals showing you how to fill out the permit application and then having you shoot one shot in a bucket of sand is inexcusable. So I m hopeful that you now understand why we give a longer better class and charge a little bit more (although my class is a bargain at the current price.) What Course Includes 1) History of Guns in America and Why Americans Own firearms. 2) Safety...Three Major Rules and More. 3) Fundamentals and Operation of Pistol Shooting 4) Responsibilities Regarding Concealed Carry Laws. When You Can Use Deadly Force and When You Cannot. 5) Live Fire Testing is Required...20 Plus Rounds 6) Certificate of Achievement awarded at the end of class. 7) All Range Fees and Ammunition. 8) NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting ( 19.95 value ) BONUS Discussion and Demonstration on How to Draw From Concealment in Less Than 2 Seconds. Class Length 4 hours You will apply for your license at the local Division Of Licensing(no need to fill out and mail an application anymore). Finger printing and required photo is provided there at no extra charge. Cost is 112 and is good for 7 years. More information will be given to all students at time of class.
