This individual will be directly responsible for supervising the hourly workforce and ensure goals and standards are met. Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily assignments for hourly staff Log daily warehouse activities Suggest possible process improvements Work with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are being followed at all times Train and follow up with employees Administer disciplinary action to direct reports Inspect the warehouse and ensure it is clean and free from injuries at all times Ensure that quality rotation and accuracy policies are adhered to at all times Manage shift change Monitor and keep records for food safety food quality and prerequisite program requirements report issues to management and take appropriate action Assist management with security and fire safety issues Qualifications Associate s degree required bachelor s degree preferred Minimum of 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or plant environment required Food processing and or manufacturing experienced preferred
