I Purchased the Yamaha CD S1000 for 1 299.00 18 months ago. The current replacement model is also 1 299.00 minus the rosewood side panels that this CD player has. Has never been used absolutely perfect condition. The unit will play regular CD s and its primary function is SA CD player. This player weighs 32 lb. s. It is very well made with a number of high end features and its build quality is close to other high end CD players that would sell at 2 to 3 times more at the list price. Beautiful silver metal remote control goes with the unit. This CD player is for someone who is looking for a SA CD player that is mid-level that matches up well with high end CD players for there SA CD collection or quality reproduction or regular CD s.
