Our house is in Gilbert Arizona in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is in the Higley Groves subdivision with much grass trees common areas and play areas. The subdivision has the feel of the Midwest rather than the Southwest. The house borders a green zone. It has 4 bedrooms 2 baths two car garage and a small yard with low maintenance with an area of just over 2100 SF excluding the garage. It has new carpet in three bedrooms and the living room. The master bedroom had the carpet replaced 2 years ago. Much of the house has been freshly painted. We have two waterheaters one of them solar and we have solar panels on the roof. There is a great deal of storage space. The garage has build-in cabinets 14 feel long and 15 inches deep along with two metal 4 x8 hanging storage racks. We have 5 fruit bareing trees 2 orange 1 lemon 1 grapefruit and a plum all of them have fruit developing on them. Even though the yard is small we had a thriving garden tomatoes celery onions peppers and various herbs and flowers. The neighborhood is a mix of families of young children and a few older retired couples. The elementry school is within walking distance.
